As a Ux and Web designer, I go through a process that helps create a simple and well-informed design that is easy to use across all platforms while still attaining an inspiring aesthetic.
The Process
Discovery
Learn more about the client and their desire. Then create the initial statement of a goal to be accomplished or a problem to be solved through design
Synthesize & Analyze
Taking a step back and looking at the big picture of all the information gathered to create a hierarchy of the most important items to translate into design.
Research
Competitive and comparative analysis occurs in this stage. As well as any user testing or surveys to help create a functioning, well-informed design.
Design & Iteration
Here we get all of our ideas out, review, test them, and then go back to the drawing board. We do this until we create a beautiful, clean design that not only meets our client's goals but their users' goals, as well.
